Mike lives the principles of the topic, communicating clearly in a way that teams can comprehend.

I'm really pleased with the progress we've made, largely down to Mikes expertise and leadership. My instinct was that this was an area we needed to focus on given the issues we'd been having with communication. I didn’t expect the topic to land as well as it has done with teams in a relatively short space of time.  Teams are seeing it as a solution to some of the operational challenges they face, as well as about tackling inequalities.

Mikes sessions are interactive both in person and on teams, which means we have been able to flex the approach and engage a wide range of colleagues.

We are focusing on how we embed health literate principles and still have a way to go, but the progress and buy in from senior leaders has been really positive.
